This tournament will follow CDL rules and the game mode played will be Search and Destroy.
- This tournament will be double elimination and best out of three to start the first round, afterwards we will progressively increase the map count.
- Squads can consist of 6-8 players, with team makeup being six starters and up to 2 substitutes, subs should be named while listing Player Names during the registration.
- The registration fees for the tournament is $20/Player for the starters. Please complete your registration by sending the registration fees @ csya@thecsya.com via PayPal (PayLink) and should be done at the time of completing the registration form below.
- A coin toss will decide the first host/map choice, and the winner of the coin toss will be able to choose whether to pick a map or choose to be the host. The coin toss loser will automatically be given another choice, host, or map. In the second game, there will be no coin toss, but the options will be switched, the team that hosted the first game will choose the map, and the team that picked the map will host.
- Match schedules will be posted on the CSYA webpage before the tournament starts.
- The CSYA team will work assuming that each participant knows all the rules and checks them regularly, although significant rule changes will be communicated. A lack of knowledge of the Call of Duty Tournament Rules will not be used as an excuse for rule-breaking.
- Players who take part are required to play with the Activision ID they have specified. If another account is used, submit this to the CSYA team immediately.
- Team captains are responsible for ensuring their squad is online 10 mins before the tournament and their respective games, CSYA team will be in contact with the team captains only via WhatsApp.
- Every player is responsible for their connection and has to have a good internet connection to avoid possible 'lag.'
- Players found breaking the rules or are caught cheating will be penalized. The CSYA team will decide the exact punishment. Examples of sentences are an automatic loss, replay, penalty points, exiting the tournament early, a temporary ban, or a permanent ban.
- If there are suspicions that your opponent is not playing by the rules or severe lag occurs for a long time, report this to the CSYA team as soon as possible, before your opponent has taken benefit of the problem, i.e., The beginning of the game.
